Overview
Located on top of the Zabarwan mountain range in the heart of Srinagar lies a historic structure known as ShankarAcharya Temple. The temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva & receives thousands of visitors throughout the year. Situated at 6,170ft above sea level, the temple is a historic architectural marvel overlooking the city of lakes. Although there is a functional road(6kms) leading to the temple which can take you  there in half an hour but taking the forest trail to the temple is a different experience altogether. Possessing the features of a Himalayan trek, the trail takes you through the lush green dense forests of the hill particularly enjoyed by the local hikers, birdwatchers & mountain bikers. The trail is well maintained & offers the occasional viewpoints of the stunning Dal lake & Srinagar City.

What is Included?
- Meals: You will be given all the refreshments during the trek including a packed lunch(Only Vegetarian food).
- GST and Other Taxes:Â The goods and services tax is included in the booking price.
- Safety Equipment: First Aid including Medical kit, Oximeter etc. will be available all the time to deal with the emergencies.
- Trek Permits and Camping Charges:Â All the applicable trekking permits, Camping Charges, Forest Entry Fee, etc will be paid by us.
- Transportation: Transportation from Srinagar & back is included.
What is Excluded?
- Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses incurred during transit from srinagar or during the trek is not included.
